Why does the N.Y. Times insist on rewriting history . . .

. . . to sanitize U.S. foreign policy? It’s well-documented (partly thanks to internal docs from WikiLeaks) that the U.S. government (under Obama and Sec of State Clinton) enabled the 2009 right-wing military coup in Honduras that has led to much repression and bloodshed, including the assassination of renowned indigenous and environmental leader Berta Caceres. But a NYT report recently claimed that the Obama administration worked to get the elected president of Honduras returned to office in 2009.  Reality was quite the opposite, as FAIR's Janine Jackson points out HERE.
